At RO Service Wala (by Water Smith), we strive to provide reliable doorstep services to our customers. We understand that plans can change. This Refund and Cancellation Policy details the terms under which you can cancel your booking and receive refunds for prepaid booking fees.
2. Cancellation Policy
Depending on when the booking is cancelled, the following refund rules apply:
Before Assignment & Dispatch
Cancellations requested **before** a technician is assigned to your order or dispatched from our hub are eligible for a **full 100% refund** of the ₹99 prepaid booking fee, or free rescheduling to a future date.
After Assignment & Dispatch
Once a technician has been assigned and dispatched (or has reached your premises), the prepaid ₹99 booking fee is **non-refundable**. If you booked under COD (no prepaid fee), a visit fee of ₹249 remains payable upon arrival.
3. Refund Processing
Approved refunds are processed back to the original payment method. The verification and transfer typically take 5 to 7 business days to reflect in your bank account, card statements, or wallet, depending on your bank's processing cycles.
4. Part Replacement and Spares
Charges for components, filters, membrane kits, electrical elements (pumps/SMPS), or structural fittings that are purchased and installed during a service visit are non-refundable once installed and verified by the technician.
5. Disputes & Support
If you believe you have been charged incorrectly or wish to appeal a cancellation fee, please contact our support team. We value our customer relationships and aim to resolve all payment queries within 24-48 business hours.
